Helping Children Grow, Learn, and Thrive Where They Belong
Learning Potential Foundation provides early childhood developmental supports within community preschools and daycares, helping children build skills, confidence, and independence in a familiar learning environment.
Support That Fits Into a Child’s Everyday World
Every child develops at their own pace. Some children may need extra support with speech and language, fine motor skills, movement, behaviour, social interaction, or early learning readiness.
Learning Potential Foundation works with partnering preschools and daycares to identify areas where children may benefit from support and provide strategies that help them succeed in their everyday classroom environment.
Our goal is not to label children. Our goal is to understand their needs, celebrate their strengths, and provide meaningful support that helps them grow.
How We Support Children
We provide developmental screenings at partnering private preschools and daycares. These screenings help identify whether a child may benefit from additional support in areas such as speech/language or fine motor development.
Our programs are overseen by AB Certificated Coordinating Teachers and supported by professionals such as Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other specialists as needed.
We work alongside preschool and daycare teachers by providing practical strategies, guidance, and support for children with developmental delays.
Our programming takes place within the child’s community preschool or daycare setting, allowing children to receive support in a familiar, comfortable environment.

Learning Potential partners with preschools and daycares in many cities across Alberta (currently mainly in the Calgary area). If your center doesn’t partner with Learning Potential, we can arrange a meeting with your center to see if they would be open to partnering with us.
-
Please contact us to arrange an online or in-person conversation about what we can offer and how our supports can compliment your center. We would sign a one-year partnership agreement (that we can renew each year) that outlines the expectations of both your center and our foundation. Then we would choose a date for our team to come do screenings at your center.
Support Within the Child’s Community
Children learn best when they feel safe, included, and understood. That is why our services are delivered within participating community preschools and daycares. This approach allows children to receive support in the spaces where they already play, learn, and build friendships.
